It's official

Well I don't know if I ever mentioned (likely I did) that Andrew's autism diagnosis wasn't official yet, but after navigating our way through waiting lists like crazy, we now have a formal diagnosis of Autism, as of today (today being the day I backdated this to).

Truthfully, I really gave it a lot of thought as to whether or not to put Andrew's diagnosis up here as something to smile about. But the number of doors that diagnosis opens ia large, and the official diagnosis confirms that we're doing the things we should be to help Andrew.

Add to that the fact that Andrew is doing AWESOME in his therapies, and it's definitely something to smile about. Early intervention is what everyone talks about, and knowing that the 6 months we waited for a diagnosis were spent in the right direction is an enormous relief, for everyone.
